Have You Ever Been Worried or Afraid?

In God’s reassuring message of His grace says He will always be with you. When God is with you, how can people possibly make your circumstances uncomfortable? (Hebrews 13:5, 6)

We are covered by His grace. We never need to be anxious about anything we face!

DB Hebrews 13:5, 6

Hebrews 13:5, 6 – Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “I WILL NEVER DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER FORSAKE YOU,” so that we confidently say, “THE LORD IS MY HELPER, I WILL NOT BE AFRAID. (NASB)
We believers are not to love money above all else and we need to be content with what we have. Some have difficulty with that. But the fearful or distraught need to remember that we are children of our Heavenly Father. And because we are His children, we are covered by His grace. We never need to be anxious about whatever we face.
Pray to God and thank Him for the promise that He will never leave you or forsake you. Fully grasp that His grace is sufficient for any challenge you face.
Hebrews 13:6 – We Can Say With Confidence

Real contentment comes only when we trust in God to meet our needs and to be our security. Strangely, we are often more likely to put security and find contentment in things far less reliable and secure than God Himself. 1 But we should find peace when we can confidently say that Lord will care for and protect us.

Consider the Daily Bread email message sent on 10/15/2014 which says,

DB Hebrews 13:6
Hebrews 13:6 – So that we may boldly say, “The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” (KJV)
We can CONFIDENTLY say that Jesus is our Helper. Just as Jesus watched over, walked out on the water, cared for and protected His disciples from the storm (Matthew 14:22-27; 8:23-27), so He will do whatever is necessary for us. Jesus will not forget His promises. We can never be out of His sight and will never find ourselves anywhere that the Lord cannot find us. There are no storms in life that Jesus cannot subdue in His time. There is never a valid reason to fear. We are to trust in the One who will never leave us nor forsake us. Through any storm and in whatever it is that is giving us a hard time, we are to know that He is coming to our aid and we must keep looking for Jesus.
